When a decision is made for an idea to become something tangible in the world, it can be an exciting moment. The unknown is daunting yet curiously attractive, and the possibilities of what that idea can turn into and who it can serve are endless.

Some of my most memorable and rewarding experiences have involved planning and executing programs that turn ideas into tangible opportunities for community and social impact.

These experiences have taught me valuable lessons in the art of program and project management while navigating my career.

I hope these series of posts spark insight, curiosity and resonance for project and program management novices and veterans, and anyone interested in real world experiences in navigating a career path in program and project management for community and social impact.

Some time ago, I wanted to create a space to lift up the experiences of women like me who have found purpose and passion in their livelihoods and careers. At the same time, I’ve wanted to share a bit of my own story, specifically as it relates to finding fulfillment in my own career path of being a program and project manager. I’m excited to launch the series — coffee and conversation — about purpose, careers, fulfillment, reflection — finding and creating your own path in the world.

I’ll start with sharing about experiences on my own journey, and look forward to sharing more in the future.

today’s coffee: dunkin donuts, original blend, medium roast.
